It’s That Time Of Year
It is that time of year where our main showroom returns to indoor activities and our second showroom becomes the center for outdoor furniture. This is also the prime time of year for our thrifty customers to look at the tremendous specials on one of a kind or closeout items. Like most people I have followed the ups and downs of the stock market with great interest. Equally interesting is what has happened to gold and silver prices. New highs almost every week on gold, and the stock market itself reminds me of a roller coaster at Kings Island. So how do you make sense of it all and what can you do to help secure your financial stability for the future. Well, I have an idea.
Inflatable pool floats and toys. Talk about the investment potential! No, I’m not talking about investing in the companies that make them. I’m talking about what we sell—what’s right here on my shelf. For example, I have an inflatable raft that normally sells for $12.99 that is on sale for $7.00. WOW! The great savings is overshadowed only by the investment possibilities. Personally, I’d recommend buying all of them I have. Like gold bullion, plastic might be the next goldmine. Imagine their value when plastic prices start to soar like silver has. Buy everything I have and you may be setting on a fortune down the road. I smell early retirement.

I know people don’t necessarily think of pool tables as a seasonal item, but we tend to sell the majority of our pool tables when the temperatures start to drop. We Are Still Booking Installs!
We are closing in on the end of the traditional swim season, but there are still plenty of reasons to go ahead and buy an inground or aboveground pool. We are still running great promotions, including 10% off all of our inground package specials. With material costs seemingly always on the rise it is next to impossible to predict where pricing will go next year, but we are currently offering running at pricing comparable to 2006 prices. With aboveground pools there are a number of closeouts available on special purchase Horizons and Ultra 8s. These are both durable and high quality pools with very inclusive package specials. If you want it installed there are deals there too, but you can always choose to do your own install…and no it won’t affect your warranty in the least. So if you are thinking about a pool for next year it might just be worth your time to look into doing something sooner rather than later. Stop in and we would be happy to tell you about any of these great late season promotions.

Summer Sizzle Sale Begins May 5th!
Traditionally, we follow our anniversary shindig with the “Summer Sizzle Sale”. In most years, the good old sun is shining and warming the earth. We thought about changing this year’s title to the “Build and Ark Sale” but decided that a positive disposition and outlook would help the sun return and the ground to dry out. 2011 marks our 31st year in business and we celebrate with our biggest chemical and accessory sale of the year. This year the sale dates are April 29 and 30 and May 1. Black Friday
What an absolutely awful name given to the day that starts all the holiday madness, er…fun! I mean, what could be better than getting up at 4 am to make it to the mall by 6. Once there, you get to meet sooooooooo many nice, courteous folks (just don’t get in their way!). Okay, that part sucks. But only a lot! Then you get to lug everything back to the crowded parking lot (“Is that my car over there in the next county?”) and hope that nobody has banged into your car. Ho ho HO!
Why not do something different? Sleep in, and then visit us for our own version of holiday fun. Eastgate Pools & Spas will open early at 8 am and we’re serving coffee, tea, milk, and cookies.
