Hello Sports Fans!
All the O$U fans OK? If you want to see somebody in a sweater vest again, maybe we can get Max to wear one in the next commercial!!
Bengal fans, at least we can say we were undefeated if they don’t settle the labor issue!!!
And better yet, we won’t have to listen to Mike Brown or Marvin Lewis stumble thru news consferences.
Reds fans are you as frustrated at watching this team as me? Why does Chris Heisey continue to sit? Does Dusty have a crush on Fred Lewis and Johnny Gomes? Anybody else sick of seeing Homer Bailey and Edinson Volquez pitch? Good thing we play in a weak division or we would be 12 games out!!
Bearcat Fans, any chance Butch Jones gets his boys to play better? Brian Kelly sure didn’t leave him much when he left, but I think we are in for a good year. When is the last time 2 players were on a watch list for National Player of the Year??
Xavier fans, not sure what I could talk about with you guys. Do you even have any fall sports teams?
Love to hear from the sports fans, so drop a note!!
Tim
I’m Sure Some Of You Are Happy
The football season is over here in Cincinnati and I’m sure some of you are happy to see the Bengals finish last this year. They looked bad at points this season and many of you have called for a new coach or perhaps a new quarterback. It was most definitely one of the worst and most disappointing years in Bengals history. So for all of the fans out there who have been acting like Debbie Downer this year here is your chance to gloat. This is your chance to tell everyone out there you knew the AFC North championship was a fluke last year. I hope you are happy that the Bengals have proven you right once again, but I don’t feel this way.
I love the Bengals and I will never give up on them. We still have the best coach that we can get right now. I firmly believe Mike Brown wants to win, but loves making money slightly more. I still believe Carson Palmer is still an elite quarterback and that my Bengals will be AFC Champions in 2011. WHO-DEY

Pride
In any job that I have ever had I have tried to do what has been asked of me. I have had no problem working late or picking up that extra day to help out with staffing issues. When I watched the Bengals game this past Sunday I felt as though I were going to sick. As many of you know I live and die with the Bengals and so far this season they are making life very difficult for me. Don’t think for one second that I don’t believe they will turn this thing around and that my support for this team has wavered in any way. That being said I do have a message for the team. Standup for yourselves, your teammates, and standup for this city. We all need something good and uplifting to latch onto and right now you are letting a lot of people down. Take pride in being a professional football player where you get to play the same game you did as children and make more money than 90% of this country does.

I know we have already talked about the Bengals a little this year but I would like to take a few lines to discuss the direction we are traveling in with our beloved team. With the acquisition of free agents and rookies from the draft we are going to see some real excitement this season. I’m not just talking about winning the division and making the playoffs but something special. Our defense is going to be stifling and our offense will be un-stoppable. I usually don’t take vacation early in the year but I think I might take mine in February of 2011. – Thomas
Congradulations To The New Orleans Saints
There have been few teams in NFL history that have been so proficient at losing football games as the Saints, and what they have accomplished is beyond hope for many of their fans. I will say I was not rooting for the Saints or the Colts for that matter, but the magnitude of their win does hit close to home. I was holding out until the very last second of the game that the NFL might break in, stop the broadcast, and say that every team except one who made the playoffs would be disqualified due to rules violations. It obviously didn’t happen but I always hold out hope that my team, the Bengals, would have won by default due to the dirty play of the rest of the teams in the league. When they speak of losing teams of the last twenty years the Bengals always seem to pop up in the discussion. I know how the Saints fans felt as far as never knowing the taste of ultimate victory but I would never speak ill of the team or wear a bag over my head with Aints written across the front. I know it is not the best recipe for success to blindly support your team without voicing opinions when things are going poorly, but I always hold out like the Saints fans that we are going to win it next year. That being said, I will see all of the other Bengal fans in Dallas next year when we bring the trophy home to Cincinnati. – Thomas
