My Favorite Team Not Going To Tournament Again!

I root really hard for my beloved Bearcats, as do many who work here.  But once again it looks like we will be watching them in the NIT and not the Big Dance.  I might be wrong but it sure doesn’t look good.  The Big East is the best conference year in and year out, and anybody can beat each other on any given day.  Lets hope the Cats can make a late season run with some upsets over Uconn, Louisville and Georgetown.  Regardless if you like UC or not, at Eastgate Pools and Spas we have all the locals covered.  Maybe you are a diehard Xavier fan in search of some barstools your friends can sit in to watch the game.  How about that perfect Kentucky pub table that would look great in your UK themed basement.  Stop in an purchase your set today and you can show it off for March Madness. – Tim

Spring Is In The Air

It’s that wonderful time of year when the season begins to change from cold and miserable to warm and beautiful. The first sign of spring for me is spring training for the Reds. Then spring training gets accompanied by March Madness which is basically a count down to opening day. I love March Madness and the excitement that comes with it, but I greatly look forward to baseball season every year as it typically means warmer air, greener scenery, and the return of outdoor activities. One of my favorite things to do in the spring and summer is listen to the Reds game on the back deck while grilling out and sharing a few adult beverages with friends and family. As far as I’m concerned it really doesn’t get much better than that. As an added bonus this year, I will get to do all of this with my new son.

March Madness!!!

Yes, this is my favorite time of the year.  Not only do you have the greatest basketball tournament about to happen but the Reds season is just around the corner as well!!  Although the NCAA tournament hasn’t been the same without my beloved Bearcats, I still hook up 3 TV’s and watch basketball until I can’t see straight.  I also love to sit around and hear people tell me they had the upset on one of the brackets they filled out, but what they don’t tell you is they filled out 10 of them.  I also love the “my bracket is done because I have no teams left that I had in the Final Four” and they aren’t even thru the first day yet!! So not only do I get to watch basketball but I get to laugh at my friends too!!  By the way, here is my Final Four, Kansas, Syracuse, West Virginia, and Duke.  Drop a comment and tell me your Final Four.
